English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is
instruction for adults who are nonnative English speakers.
The Fostoria Community School's ESOL program is designed to
help nonnative English speakers learn to read, write, and
speak English.
The Fostoria Community School's ESOL
program provides the following:
- Instruction in reading and writing English
- Instruction in speaking and listening in English
- Instruction that shares the cultural and social
practices of our community
- Instruction in life skills such as telling time,
reading labels, and shopping, etc.
