Applications my be submitted online
by going to http://www.ode.state.oh.us
and type GED in Search box. Click on the "GED
WEB APPLlCATION LINK." You will have to sign
up for a SAFE account. You will need your
driver's license, Social Security number,
and valid email address. Once you have a
"SAFE ACCOUNT" you may register to take the
GED test.

A hard copy application may also be sent to
the state GED office.
These applications may be picked up at
Holmes Administration Building or printed
off the internet from the site listed above.

Unless you have earned a fee waiver, the
cost of taking the GED test is $55.
You will need to submit a money order in
this amount to the state GED office.
• A
fee waiver can be issued
through our classes. Enrollees who pass the
five sections of the
Practice GED Test
will receive a signed waiver that saves them
the $55.00 application fee.

Call Fostoria ABLE program (419-436-4163) to
register to take the test after you
have submitted your application (online or
mail) to State GED Office.

A confirmation letter will be mailed to you
once you have been scheduled to test.

Arrive at testing site by 4:45 p.m.
with photo ID (driver’s license, Ohio ID
card, passport).

On the first day, Writing will be
administered followed by Science.
|
|
 |
On the second day, Math will be
administered followed by Social Studies and
Reading
|
