Location:
Fostoria is located in Northwest Ohio approximately 40 miles southeast of
Toledo. Columbus, Cleveland and Detroit are all within two hours of
Fostoria. Five State and one U.S. highway run through Fostoria. The Ohio
Turnpike (I-80/90) and Interstate 75 are easily accessible within 20 minutes
of Fostoria. Routes include: U.S. 23, Ohio 12, 18, 199, 587 and 613.
The City of Fostoria is located in three Ohio counties. Seneca,
Hancock, and Wood are the counties.
Education:
The Fostoria Community School District is made up of three elementary
schools; Longfellow Elementary School has Kindergarten and First grade,
Field Elementary School has Second and Third grades, Riley Elementary has
Fourth and Fifth grades. Fostoria Middle School accommodates the Sixth,
Seventh, and Eight grades. Fostoria High School accommodates Ninth,
Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth grades.
In addition Fostoria is assessable to Bowling Green State University
(Bowling Green, Ohio 26 miles), Heidelberg College (Tiffin, Ohio ~ 13
miles), Tiffin University (Tiffin, Ohio 13 miles), Owens Community College
(Findlay, Ohio 14 miles), The University of Findlay (Findlay, Ohio 14
miles), and Terra Community College (Fremont, Ohio 20 miles).

Fostoria's population is approximately 13,900 and 20,000 including the
surrounding area.

Lakeland Golf Course, a public 18-hole course and Loudon Meadows Golf Club,
