Online Curriculum Resources
As a district, we are excited to be able to offer an increasing number of opportunities for our students to access their textbooks, coursework, and other academic materials online. Below is information on these opportunities – your student(s) should have already received usernames and passwords for all of these resources. Please contact your children(s) teacher if you need assistance with logging on or have questions regarding what is available for your child.
MyMHEducation is the platform that now supports all of our McGraw-Hill curriculum materials. Currently, K-6 Reading Wonders, 7-12 Social Studies, and High School Anatomy student materials can be accessed through here. Logging into my.mheducation.com allows students to access their textbook, supplemental reading materials, assignments, and assessments online. Students can practice skills, read selections, and locate homework. Visit https://my.mheducation.com to access your student’s account.
The district’s K-12 math curriculum, as well as the K-6 Social Studies Curriculum, is both supported by Pearson Education. The online portion of the curriculum is known as Pearson Realize, which offers access to the student textbook and additional educational opportunities including math games, helpful tools for online student work and tracking student progress. Elementary students K-5 have access to myNGConnect for Science. My NGConnect is through National Geographic and gives students access to a lot of wonderful resources including National Geographic Kids to use both in and out of the classroom! To access this platform visit https://www.myngconnect.com.
Students in grades 6-8 will be using Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s ScienceFusion. To access the digital components including virtual labs, videos, animations, and simulations students can sign into https://www-k6.thinkcentral.com. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Holt McDougal Online is the platform that students in grades 9-12 will be using to access Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Science High School Specific courses and students in grades 7-12 will use to access the Collections for English Language Arts. My my.hrw.com offers innovative digital tools and skills-practice resources provide a multimodal approach—an alternative experience—to help all students succeed. Students can access these resources by visiting https://my.hrw.com.
Finally, don’t forget that Progress Book is also a great tool for you and your child to utilize to keep track of grades and classroom performance. If you or your child(ren) have not yet set up accounts, we encourage you to do so!
