Just a reminder, no school for students this Friday, October 16th!
Today, our 6th-grade students—and their teachers!—had the opportunity to learn directly from our local first responders through a variety of hands-on small-group activities and demonstrations.
Students also gathered for some exciting whole-group demonstrations, including a ProMedica Air Ambulance, K-9 demonstration, drone demonstration, and Taser demonstration.
A HUGE thank you to all of the local first responders and community partners who took the time to share their knowledge, skills, and experiences with our students. We appreciate everything you do for our community and for making today such a memorable learning experience!

This afternoon, our students were presented with a $500 check from Goodwill and 13abc to celebrate the win!

This competition is decided by WEIGHT, so every donation counts! On Friday, the trailers will be weighed, and the winning school will receive a $500 scholarship from Goodwill and 13abc.
While you are there, if you take a picture while donating, post it on social media and tag @goodwillnow it will add an extra 100 lbs. to the total weight!!!

Today is School Custodian Appreciation Day, and we want to take a moment to thank all of the custodians who help keep our district facilities looking their best!
Throughout the year, we welcome many alumni back for tours, and they are always amazed by how great our facilities look and how well they are maintained.
And right now, we’ve made it to the FINALS of the WTOL Big Board Friday Stadium Challenge — with the winner being announced tonight!
From our classrooms and hallways to our athletic facilities and everything in between, none of it would look the way it does without a strong, dedicated team working behind the scenes.
Thank you to our custodians for the hard work and pride you put into our district every day!

Congratulations to Mr. Joe Folk, who was recognized by Fostoria Elementary School at Monday night's Board of Education meeting. Mr. Folk was recognized for his dedication, positivity, professionalism, exceptional communication, calm leadership, and genuine care for his students. Thank you, Mr. Folk, for all you do!
