Good morning. Fostoria City Schools is on a 2-hour delay today, Oct. 14th, due to fog.

Don't forget to join us tonight for the Homecoming Parade! Following the parade will be the crowning of this year's Homecoming King and Queen, and the Homecoming game vs. Rossford. We'll see you there!

As temperatures drop, please make sure your child comes to school dressed for the cooler weather — jackets, hats, and layers help keep everyone warm and healthy! Thank you for helping our students stay comfortable and ready to learn!

Teach Like Ty
Today, FES welcomed the parents of former student teacher Tyler Mescher, who came to share t-shirts with our new staff and student teachers. Although Tyler tragically passed away the summer after he graduated from BGSU and never had the chance to lead his own classroom, the impact he made during his time at FES continues to inspire others.
For the third year, his family has carried on his legacy by encouraging all of us to “Teach Like Ty.” This year, FES staff members also had the opportunity to receive shirts and, in turn, raised more than $800 for the Tyler Mescher Scholarship, awarded in honor of Tyler at his high school.
We are grateful to keep his memory alive and continue the ripple of his influence in our classrooms and community.

✨ Today is School Custodian Appreciation Day ✨
We want to give a huge shout-out to our custodial team for the incredible work they do every single day to keep our facilities looking great. From keeping our schools clean and safe to lending a hand wherever it’s needed, their hard work often happens behind the scenes—but it never goes unnoticed.
Thank you for all you do to support our students, staff, and community.
