🚍 Bus Transportation Update 🚍
Redmen families, please note that the Here Comes The Bus app will not be live for the first few days of school. During this time, students and drivers are getting used to new routes and stops.
The first week also includes important bus safety lessons, and drivers take extra time to ensure students understand pickup and drop-off procedures. Because of this, buses may run later than usual during the first few weeks as everyone acclimates to the new school year.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep all students safe while adjusting to routines. 💛

Don't forget, our National Honor Society blood drive is Monday, August 18th!

We are excited to welcome back two people who have been a part of our FCS family for quite some time. This year, they are in new roles. Welcome, Mrs. Munoz, FES School Counselor, and Mr. Foster, FJSHS Math Teacher!

FCS is excited to welcome two new school psychologists this year! Welcome, Mrs. Hartman and Mrs. Markley!

Don't forget, next Monday is our district-wide open house! Come meet your teachers, drop off supplies, and learn important information for the school year!

As we prepare for a new school year, we want to make sure our students and families have the support they need to start strong. Check out these school and community resources that can help.
Together, we can make this a successful year.
Together, we can make this a successful year.

Next, we would like to welcome Ms. Erin Anderson and Mrs. Dianne Wagner! Both were in our district last year, Ms. Anderson as a student teacher and Mrs. Wagner as a third-party hire. This year, we are excited to have both of them as official employees of FCS!

New staff start Monday! We are excited to share our new staff members with you to help you get to know them before the year starts. Welcome to Mrs. Samantha Sabo-Wygant, FES Art Teacher, and Mrs. Lauren Parriott, FJSHS Intervention Specialist!

Just in case you want to take advantage of the tax-free weekend, here is the FES 25-26 school supply list!

We had a fun day yesterday volunteering to build walls for the Fostoria Area Habitat for Humanity. Thank you to our FCS staff, students, families, and community members for volunteering their time to help the Fostoria community!

We are excited to begin welcoming our new staff to the district next Monday! Over the next several days, we will be sharing information about our new staff so you can get to know them, too! Welcome, Ms. Rodriguez, and Mr. Miller, to FCS! Ms. Rodriguez will be an Intervention Specialist at FES, and Mr. Miller will be the DECA/Marketing teacher at FJSHS.

Thank you to all who made last night's Back to School Bash a success! To our custodial staff who did a great job setting up and tearing down, and to all of our staff and community organizations who volunteered their time to support our FCS families. It was an awesome kick-off to the upcoming school year!

Our National Honor Society is hosting our first blood drive of the year on Monday, August 18th, and would like your support! We earn scholarship dollars based on how many units of blood we collect throughout the year, so this drive will help kick off what we hope to be a great year!

We are looking forward to seeing many of you tonight (Tuesday, August 5th) at Meet the Teams!

We can't believe it's already August 1st! We have some great events coming up next week, including the Meet the Teams on Tuesday and the Back to School Bash on Wednesday!

Progress is being made on the Fostoria Elementary School addition!

We know it feels like summer just started, but please take a look at the School Calendar Highlights and the Attendance Matters calendar for 2025-26 school year.
