Attendance Matters!

Attention FCS Families with bussers: Elementary buses are running behind today. With the construction on Lytle St., they are having difficulty getting through. Busses will be picking up students a little later than usual. We appreciate your understanding.
We are so proud of these five FES students! They received positive bus
conduct referrals. Thanks for being great leaders!

"Learning does not happen in an empty seat." - Traivon Cousin, FJSHS junior

Mrs. Davoli's class enjoys starting the day by reading our library books to a friend after we practice reading to self first. It is so much fun to watch the students be proactive with reading at their desk, synergizing to help one another read, learn, and have fun!

Mrs. Davoli's class enjoyed showing the preschoolers in Mrs. Boiros and Mrs. Hasselbach's classrooms how to use classroom-made bubble wands the first week of September. This last week of September we delivered wands that were made for them, along with a bubble recipe and a small piece of bubble wrap to have fun popping. Thanks for letting us be "teachers" - we had so much fun!

A huge "Thank you!" to all our FCS custodians! We appreciate all you do!

Here are pictures of the current Lost and Found at FES. The Lost and Found is always at the back of the cafeteria. If you see your student's jacket/belongings, please make sure to reach out to their teacher.

It's Homecoming week! Thank you to the Findleys for sharing your Spirit pictures!! Send your family spirit pictures to pride@fostoriaschools.org to have your pictures posted!

FJSHS Junior Siniah James shares why attendance matters!

6th-grade student Na'Shon Harper recently wrote and published a book for Ms. Ewing and Mrs. Long's classes. Earlier this week, he was invited to share his story with Mrs. Morgart's 4th-grade class. He then surprised her class with blank books to help encourage them to write their own! Great job Na'Shon! #leavealegacy

Next week is Homecoming, and we have some fun community events planned! Storefront Spirit, Family Spirit, Homecoming Parade. There's something for everyone. However you plan to participate, see the information below to make sure your spirit is shared!
