Catch "Check Please" on May 17th and 18th at 7:00pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors/students, available at the door!
Hi-Y had their annual Box City last Friday and earned about $75 and many canned goods. They had a great time.

Juniors took the ACT in February. Those students who earned a 20 or higher for their composite score received yard signs recognizing them as members of the 20+ Club! Their names were also put into a drawing for Cedar Point Gold Passes with Aeryx Sidney and Kylar Leisure winning.

We are currently monitoring this afternoon's weather and wanted to let everyone know that if we are under a severe weather warning this afternoon at dismissal, the dismissal process may be stopped or slowed down for the safety of all. We will continue monitoring the weather and appreciate everyone's patience as we work to get students home safely.
Update to FJSHS Lunch Menu:
- April 17 (Wed): Cheesy Garlic Bread w sauce - instead of Cheesy Bread Sticks, rest of menu the same
- April 19 (Fri): cook's choice - Chili dog, onion rings, fruit, milk
- April 24 (Wed): Cheesy Bread Sticks w/ sauce - instead of Stuffed Crust Pizza, rest of the menu the same.
A heartfelt "thank you" goes out to varsity basketball coach Thom Loomis as he steps down from his coaching position. Thank you, coach, for all you have done for our basketball program over the years. Coach Loomis has been the varsity coach for the last seven years and was the JV coach when he returned to Fostoria in 2016. He was the assistant basketball coach for Fostoria from 1983-1987 and again in 1996-1997. We appreciate you and your years of service and dedication to the basketball program and to Fostoria City Schools.
Mr. Loomis will continue as the Athletic Director for FCS.

The students in Miss Eaches and Mrs. Reinhart's classes went on virtual field trips. They learned about the Oregon Trail from a historian at Chimney Rock and what makes up national parks from a park ranger from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Jose Garcia, FCS class of 2023, came back to the district today to talk to students about opportunities in the Air Force and to tell him what he has been doing since graduation. He also presented a Certificate of Appreciation to his favorite teacher, Mrs. Griffin, and former wrestling coach and school SRO, Officer Kiser. Thanks for coming to visit Jose; we are proud of you! #leavealegacy
