Thank you, Mr. Loomis, for your dedication to FCS athletics!

We hope everyone is having a good weekend. See you all Monday!

Spirit Week is coming soon (Oct. 2-6)! Here are the Spirit Week dress-up days and a fun family activity to do to show your S-P-I-R-I-T!

Hello, FCS community! Our Spirit Week is coming up fast (Oct. 2nd-6th), and the FES Teacher Lighthouse Team has come up with some great ways to involve our community business in the fun! Check out the flyer below, and please share. Thank you!

Mr. Lance's 6th period had a great day to play flag football today!

Travis Justice's 8th grade has been working on an engineering design challenge. Students were given a short list of materials: 4 lifesaver candies, 3 plastic straws, 1 sheet of paper, 2 index cards, 50 cm of tape, 2 paper clips, and scissors. The goal was to make a wind-powered car and use a fan to make the car travel 4 feet. His 8th period did great!

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

If your child still needs to be vaccinated, appointments are available in Fostoria tomorrow. See below for details.

Meet Mrs. Allie Greenberg!

Mrs. Masterson, the Library/Media Specialist at FJSHS recently hosted a "Blind Date with a Book" activity. Books were wrapped and included an excerpt from the text on the front. Classes discussed genres and how to select a book. Then, the students played musical chairs and would choose a book. This activity was designed to get students to select a book based on the text versus the book cover.

Why Attendance Matters -
There’s a very strong correlation between good attendance and success in school. On the other hand, students who regularly miss school are also more likely to struggle in school.

Yesterday, our students were able to enjoy an Air Force Band Tribute Concert coordinated by Mr. Kauffman.

Students in Miss Eaches' art class are getting ready for fall by applying the elements of art they learned to create Fall Zentangles!

Reminder to turn applications in by the end of the day Friday to be entered for a chance to win!

We have a great staff at FCS! Over the next several weeks, we will celebrate our team and feature information about them so the Fostoria community can get to know those working in our school district. Meet Brittany Loomis!
