Students in Mr. Justice's 8th grade science class put on their paleontology caps and made some excellent fossil record posters and fossil trading cards!









Heidelberg University hosted our Seneca County Higher Education Day College Fair, allowing our students to connect with over 60 universities/institutions from the area. Our students had a great time learning more about what each school has to offer as they continue to plan for their life after graduation!





Special thanks to Carol (Owen) Kern, Business Services Consultant of OhioMeansJobs Seneca County, for providing our students with a Virtual Reality Career Exploration Experience today. Students had the opportunity to explore various career simulations using VR Headsets to help them discover various career paths they may be interested in.


Mrs. Woodward took students to ONU for an engineering field trip this week.

Dr. Linda Bertsch Uveges, Mr. Mike Daring, Mrs. Dawn Skornicka, and Dr. Margaret Brennan Krueger (not pictured) were recognized for representing Fostoria a by presenting at the 2025 Showcase for AcceleratED Leadership & Learning.

Congratulations to two of our freshmen at FJSHS. These students were recognized at the February BOE meeting by FJSHS principal, Mr. Mike Daring, for having perfect attendance for the school year and for prioritizing their education with strong student ownership. Thanks for being great leaders!

In celebration of the Drug Free Clubs of America member reward event on Friday, February 21 - which featured free DFCA merchandise, Dunkin Donuts, candy, and a special appearance by Sir Yacht - HOPE in Fostoria and Drug Free Clubs of America at Fostoria City Schools held four random drawings for all DFCA members.
