Here are some great reasons to join Drug Free Clubs of America!


Beginning January 2, we will implement "Here Comes the Bus" for all students PK-12. This is an app that allows parents to see how far the bus is from the student's bus stops and arrival times to the stop and schools each day. See the attached documents for parents to get signed up.


Last night, we had a fantastic holiday dinner with the 6th grade Boys to Men group. A special "thank you" to Mr. Clayton Moore and Mr. Darnell Cousin for putting so much attention and effort into this group. Thank you to FHS alumni Mr. Josh Dawson for making the trip from Columbus last night to deliver a great message to our students and families.











Some of our band members provided entertainment for the Rotary Luncheon today.


Congratulations to the Senior Class for winning the spirit stick for the December LEAD Rally!



Ms. Christina Franklin, the Financial Literacy teacher, had community member and realtor, KJ, come in to talk to her class. KJ talked to students about the national housing crisis, how to find a home, resources to help you through the process, what realtors do for you, and how to calculate your mortgage.

Last Friday, Imagine for Youth gave out around 250 Micah Hyde t-shirts at FJSHS as students entered the building. Students were surprised and excited to get the shirts!

Mr. Morales' Jr. High Social Studies class recently did a project about several taxes and reactions to those taxes that occurred during the American Revolution. These projects look great!
