Mrs. Baxter’s English 10 and English 10 Honors students participated in book clubs at the start of the year and created food trucks to represent their novels’ characters, conflicts, and themes. Students could bring food samples from their trucks’ menus to share when groups presented.

Sra. Ortiz's Spanish II class has been working on the cultural aspect of San Fermines, the traditional feast that is celebrated in Pamplona (Spain) from July 6 to 14. Students watched a video in Spanish about that feast, and then they worked on an oral presentation to explain some aspects of the feast in Spanish. They did a great job!

Over the past few weeks, Mrs. Theis and Mrs. Masterson have been collaborating to create an orientation lesson to the LMC for 7th grade. Students were brought to the LMC, where Mrs. Masterson did a lesson on how libraries are organized and how to find books in the LMC. Students then completed a scavenger hunt in the LMC to practice where to find fiction and non-fiction books, along with basic research skills.
