Congratulations, FCS students who had perfect attendance in October! We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

A counselor's job is never done. Mr. Howard and Mr. Earl were helping students get ready for the Fall Deca Challenge yesterday.

We had a great Red Ribbon Week at FCS! Here are pictures from Costume Day!

Congratulations to our FJSHS students for perfect attendance!

Please see the flyer below to learn more about the FCS Food Pantry.

Mrs. Baxter’s English 10 and English 10 Honors students participated in book clubs at the start of the year and created food trucks to represent their novels’ characters, conflicts, and themes. Students could bring food samples from their trucks’ menus to share when groups presented.

Red Ribbon Week is next week. We are having a mini Spirit Week at FES and FJSHS if you would like to participate.

Sra. Ortiz's Spanish II class has been working on the cultural aspect of San Fermines, the traditional feast that is celebrated in Pamplona (Spain) from July 6 to 14.
Students watched a video in Spanish about that feast, and then they worked on an oral presentation to explain some aspects of the feast in Spanish. They did a great job!

We hope everyone has a safe weekend. We are looking forward to seeing you all on Monday!

Mrs. Ashley and Miss Eaches's classes would like to send a big "thank you" to The University of Findlay Animal Science and Equestrian Programs for giving a tour of their barns and arenas. The students enjoyed seeing the animals and what care goes into keeping the animals happy and healthy.

We are excited to have FCS alumni Mr. Chad Howard as a school counselor in the district!

Attention FJSHS families,
Picture day will be Monday, Oct. 16th. Order forms will go home today and be available all week in the main office at FJSHS and SUCCESS classes.

The track will be closed tomorrow.

Attendance Matters!

There was an accidental fire alarm pulled at the Jr. Sr. High School this afternoon which resulted in an ambulance and fire truck being sent to the school.

Over the past few weeks, Mrs. Theis and Mrs. Masterson have been collaborating to create an orientation lesson to the LMC for 7th grade. Students were brought to the LMC, where Mrs. Masterson did a lesson on how libraries are organized and how to find books in the LMC. Students then completed a scavenger hunt in the LMC to practice where to find fiction and non-fiction books, along with basic research skills.

This past weekend, Mrs. Stultz took four of our seniors to the 3rd Annual Black Expo in Detroit. There were over 50 HBCUs in attendance where students could apply and be accepted on the spot if they wanted. They also attended seminars on how to pay for college and steps to take if they wish to continue their sport at the next level. Students who attended were Addisyn Talley, Braylee Talley, Ceegan Talley, and Karma Williams.

Last Friday, students from FJSHS had an excellent opportunity to listen to motivational speaker Roy Hall Jr., a former NFL & OSU football player. His message was enthusiastic and powerful, reminding students they matter and are responsible for their future.
