We're wrapping up our school celebration of Red Ribbon Week
This week, students learned about making healthy choices, being kind, helping others, and staying drug-free.
Even though our school activities are ending, the message of Red Ribbon Week is important all year long.
Families can keep the conversation going by asking their children what they learned this week.
Don't forget to check out the national Red Ribbon Photo Contest and 2027 Theme Contest.
Visit www.redribbon.org for more information.
Thank you to our students, families, and staff for celebrating with us.

FCS Families: A fire alarm was accidentally activated on campus this afternoon at FJSHS. There is no emergency, and everyone is safe. We wanted to let families know in case you heard or saw emergency personnel responding to campus. Thank you!
Reminder: There is no school this Friday (Oct. 16) because of a teacher professional development/work day. We also have no school on Wednesday, Oct. 21, for parent-teacher conferences. Conferences are from 8:00 am - 7:30 pm for FES and FJSHS.

Just a reminder, no school for students this Friday, October 16th!

The spotlight is on Trinity Williams today!

Today, our 6th-grade students—and their teachers!—had the opportunity to learn directly from our local first responders through a variety of hands-on small-group activities and demonstrations.
Students also gathered for some exciting whole-group demonstrations, including a ProMedica Air Ambulance, K-9 demonstration, drone demonstration, and Taser demonstration.
A HUGE thank you to all of the local first responders and community partners who took the time to share their knowledge, skills, and experiences with our students. We appreciate everything you do for our community and for making today such a memorable learning experience!
Safety Forces Day participants included: Fostoria Police Department, Fostoria Fire Division, ProMedica, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Wood County Sheriff’s Office/SWAT Team, and the Seneca County Dog Warden.

Recently, our 7th-grade students learned about the MH Champions Club, sponsored by Imagine for Youth.
Through this program, students have the opportunity to earn a $5,000 scholarship when they graduate by committing to being multi-sport athletes and honor roll students throughout their high school years.
Fun Fact: This year’s seniors were the first group of seventh graders offered this opportunity! We’re excited to see how many members of the Class of 2027 complete the program and earn the scholarship this year.
Thank you to Imagine for Youth for investing in our students and encouraging them to succeed both in the classroom and through athletics!
