Thank you to all who made last night's Back to School Bash a success! To our custodial staff who did a great job setting up and tearing down, and to all of our staff and community organizations who volunteered their time to support our FCS families. It was an awesome kick-off to the upcoming school year!

Our National Honor Society is hosting our first blood drive of the year on Monday, August 18th, and would like your support! We earn scholarship dollars based on how many units of blood we collect throughout the year, so this drive will help kick off what we hope to be a great year!

It was a beautiful evening and an excellent turnout for the 2025 FHS Meet the Teams! Thank you to all who came out to support our FCS high school sports!

We are looking forward to seeing many of you tonight (Tuesday, August 5th) at Meet the Teams!

The 2025-2026 school year is quickly approaching! Make sure you save/share our 25-26 Calendar Highlights for information on rolling starts, breaks and holidays, as well as days off of school for students and important dates.

We can't believe it's already August 1st! We have some great events coming up next week, including the Meet the Teams on Tuesday and the Back to School Bash on Wednesday!

We were happy to have the Class of 2005 tour the new FJSHS building and stay for dinner in Legacy Hall. Thank you for including us in your 20th class reunion!

Attention FJSHS families, here is a basic back to school supply list to help you prepare for the 25-26 school year. Please note that some teachers may have more specific supply needs depending on the class they teach. Specific class supplies will be shared in the first few days of school.

Progress is being made on the Fostoria Elementary School addition!

Join us on August 5th at 6:00 PM at the Greenspace for Meet the Teams night! Celebrate our fall high school athletes and show your school spirit as we kick off the season together!

Yesterday, FES second graders went to the Fountain Memorial Cemetery to help put flags on veterans' graves for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. This was a great learning opportunity for our students and an excellent way for them to participate in community service.

It was great having Safety Town at FES last Friday! Through a grant, and with the collaboration between the City of Fostoria, the Fostoria Police Department, the Fostoria Fire Department, the Fostoria City Schools, and volunteers, more than 20 pre-school-aged students learned important safety laws while having fun in and out of the classroom.

Mrs. Boiros' preschool class made homemade playdough today!

Congratulations to the 12 FHS seniors who completed the first-ever Vanguard AIM Manufacturing program at the Fostoria Learning Center!
These students earned industry-recognized credentials in:
- OSHA 10
- First Aid/CPR
- NCCER
- AWS GMAW Welding
- AWS SMAW Welding
We’re proud to share that 100% of the students in this inaugural group passed the program! Their hard work, dedication, and career-ready skills are paving the way for a bright future in manufacturing.

Good afternoon, this message is to inform you that there was a student at the Jr. Sr. High School who was found to be in possession of a BB gun at school today 5/16/25. The school was placed on a “shelter in place” alert while the student was removed with the help of the Fostoria Police Department. We want to reassure you that providing a safe environment for all is our number one priority.
On Wednesday afternoon, we proudly celebrated our Claire’s Day Award recipients—students who have shown incredible growth in their reading skills this year!
The Claire’s Award for Reading Excellence (C.A.R.E.) honors those who’ve demonstrated remarkable improvement and a true love for learning. We are so proud of these young readers for their hard work, determination, and progress!
