Congratulations to Fostoria Academy student Jesse Little and everyone else that recently completed the welding course at the Fostoria Learning Center!

A very busy elf (or elves) in FJSHS last night! I think Mr. Daring enjoyed their surprise!!

A BIG thank you goes to the Ohio Alpha Delta Kappa Psi Chapter of Fostoria. They awarded four instructional grants this week to four FCS teachers. The recipients had to show how this money would enable them to better meet their children's needs and instruct them on different state standards for their curriculums. Grant recipients were: from FES Lori Miller (2nd grade) and Elly Schnitker (PK), and from FJSHS Amy Masterson (Library Media Specialist) and Autumn Simpson (Intervention Specialist).

We had quite the mischievous elf at FES today!!

Thank you to FHS alum Stephanie Yu (Bethel) for providing our FJSHS staff coffee this morning!

Just a reminder, tonight's Holiday Traditions Title night is at the elementary building from 5:30-7:30. We are excited to see everyone!!

The first "Lady Red Lifter of the Week" for the winter sports season is Garyana Overton! Garyana is a senior and is a three-sport athlete, playing basketball, tennis & track. Her favorite part about strength training is working as a team and getting stronger together. As a team, I see the difference it plays on the court when it comes to rebounds and jump balls. Congratulations Garyana!

The FJSHS choir sang Christmas Carols today for the Fostoria Rotary Club.

Priscilla Castillo and Angel Hernandez-Roelle from Mrs. Racheter’s class used their PBIS points to buy tokens for the book machine!

Congratulations Andrew Norton!

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity for winning the home opener vs. Genoa!

Our Preschool friends had their feast last Thursday at school. We hope you enjoy yours today!

Teacher Jennifer Simpson has teamed with our Athletic Director Thom Loomis to start the program 2nd and 7 at Fostoria Elementary. The program is designed to provide free books and positive role models to our 2nd-grade students while encouraging our High School Athletic Students of our community to pay it forward. Each book the High school students read to the students encourages valuable life lessons. #The2ndand7Foundation

This Santa Sensory Workshop looks fun! Check it out if you get a chance!

The Ida L. McDermott Chapter of the National Honor Society had its induction banquet and ceremony last night. Fourteen FHS students were inducted into this NHS Chapter last night.
