Hello FCS Parents,
This is just a reminder about the Caring Closet request form for basic needs items.
Fostoria Schools provides a food pantry with non-perishable food and a Caring Closet that offers hygiene and personal care products for students and their families in need. If you need food or essential care items, please fill out the request form, listing the items you need and how you would like to receive them. We will work to get your items to you as quickly as possible. For urgent help, feel free to reach out to the District School Caseworker, a School Counselor, or any school staff member. We are here to support you!
There are also posters in every building that have links to student request forms for students who need items from the Caring Closet.

Parent Cafés create a friendly space for families to meet, learn, and grow together. These events aim to strengthen family resilience by focusing on important areas like social connections, parenting skills, and children's emotional development.
Each Parent Café consists of three sessions, where families can enjoy refreshments, participate in discussions, and connect with other parents. Participants gain a better understanding of protective factors, feel a sense of community, and have the chance to make lasting friendships.
Fostoria City Schools will hold Parent Cafés at Legacy Hall in the Central Office on the following Tuesdays from 4 PM to 5:30 PM; 10/15/24, 10/29/24, 11/12/24. These free events provide childcare, snacks, and a chance to win a grocery gift card. Families who attend all three sessions may also have a chance to receive an extra gift card.
