Public Notice – FCS Board August 14 Meeting/Work Session
The Fostoria City Schools Board of Education will conduct a meeting/work session on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the Board of Education Office, 1001 Park Avenue, Fostoria, OH. Board action will be taken on personnel items.

The Geary Family YMCA Musical Theatre performance of Matilda will be July 29th at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 pm at the Wainwright PAC at Fostoria City Schools. Tickets are $10 (cash only). Concessions & flowers will be available. Come support our local theatre & enjoy.

Last weekend Fostoria High School student, Kaleb Jakcsy, participated in the Special Olympics' 2023 State Summer Games in Columbus, Ohio, at the OSU Campus. He won first place in the Mini Javelin throw AND the 50 Meter Dash! Congratulations, Kaleb!



Public Notice – FCS Board July 10 Meeting/Work Session
The Fostoria City Schools Board of Education will conduct a meeting/work session on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the Board of Education Office, 1001 Park Avenue, Fostoria, OH. Board action will be taken.

During FES Summer School, Mr. Kevin Kramer did an African animal presentation on his many trips to Africa. The 2nd graders did African animal research projects this past week and did a fantastic job!







FCS teachers and other area educators recently took place in the second Educator Bootcamp at the Fostoria Learning Center. These educators toured local businesses and then created presentations on incorporating what they learned about the companies into their classrooms to help students prepare for life after high school.





We hope everyone is enjoying their summer! We are looking forward to seeing you in August!


Mrs. Curlis and Mrs. Boiros' 2nd-grade summer classes did research projects on bears and then created/presented their presentations to each other! They rocked it!





Public Notice – FCS Board Buildings, Grounds & Transportation Committee Sets Meeting
The Fostoria City School Board’s Buildings, Grounds & Transportation Committee has scheduled a meeting. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 3:30 pm in the Board of Education Office, 1001 Park Avenue, Fostoria, OH. The purpose of the meeting is to review the district’s projects and needs.

Public Meeting Notice
A meeting will be held at the Fostoria City Schools Administration Offices, 1001 Park Avenue, Fostoria, OH at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. The purpose of the meeting is to provide community members the opportunity to share their thoughts on how Federal Funds should be appropriated to best meet the needs of students for the 2023-2024 school year. The Fostoria City Schools Board Policy Committee has scheduled a meeting. The meeting will take place on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 5:00 pm in the Board of Education Office, 1001 Park Avenue, Fostoria, OH. The purpose of the meeting is to review revisions to a group of Board policies.
