We recently met Mr. Doug McDonald at his wife’s class reunion! After graduating from Ohio State, he built a career as a teacher, coach, and administrator.
So great meeting the man behind the photo that’s been a staple in our halls!

Hello FCS Families
The school year is off to a fantastic start, and we are thrilled to have our students back in the building. We’re also grateful to be partnering with parents and guardians to support your student’s success.
To help us stay connected and ensure your child receives the supports they need, please take a moment to review your information in Final Forms.
Check the Contact Information page carefully, this ensures we can reach you when needed. On this page, you’ll also find the McKinney-Vento section. Please review it carefully, as it helps us identify students who may need additional support. Below are the Residential Status options you might see, along with a brief explanation:
-Home I rent or own: Stable housing; your family is in a permanent residence.
-Living with someone due to lost housing: Sharing housing due to hardship (“doubled up”).
-Staying in a hotel, motel, or campground: Temporary housing because other options are not available.
-Emergency shelter, transitional housing, or domestic violence shelter: Includes domestic violence shelters, transitional programs, and emergency shelters.
-Primary nighttime residence not meant for regular sleeping: Examples include cars, parks, bus stations, or abandoned buildings.
-Foster/Court placed student: A child formally placed in your home through foster care or court order.
-Unaccompanied Youth: Students living with someone other than a parent/guardian due to being abandoned, denied housing, or running away.
Finally, please confirm that your Emergency Medical Authorization page is current so we can contact the right people if needed.
Thank you for helping us ensure every student has a successful and supported school year. We look forward to a wonderful year ahead.

Regular school attendance is the foundation of academic success.
Every day in class provides valuable learning opportunities and builds the skills students need for their future. Consistent attendance leads to stronger understanding, higher achievement, and positive connections with teachers and classmates.
✨ ATTENDANCE MATTERS! ✨
