ACT Prep is coming! Juniors will take the ACT on February 25th, but any FJSHS 9-12 grader interested in tutoring/help sessions are invited.
Fun Fact Friday: This bell, manufactured in 1878 by the McShane Bell Foundry, was saved when the Emerson building was demolished and stored at Seneca Mill Work from 1994-2021. This important artifact was driven to the original manufacturer in Missouri by our Director of Operations, David Hossler, to be restored. The bell is now housed in our Legacy Hall.

The Fostoria Board of Education recognized FES students Adele Lemley and Avery Settles at Monday night's BOE meeting. Adele and Avery were celebrated for receiving the Youth Asset Builder Award. Both students were nominated by their home room teachers for being positive roles models and helping others.
We had a great LEAD Rally today! It started with recognizing students with 95% attendance or higher, proceeded with a dodgeball tournament, Mr. Angelone and Mr. Daring became snowmen, and it ended with Mr. Sierra getting pied in the face. Santa even stopped in!
Thank you to all who donated items to the Fostoria Elementary Academy 's Seneca County Humane Society Drive. Students and teachers were able to drop off donations and get cuddles from some of the animals!

FJSHS hosted a DECA challenge Monday in preparation for upcoming competitions. We hosted two other schools and community members were able to come in to judge the different categories. It was a great experience for all involved!
